MAORI ART

Over a few weeks now we have been doing drafts of our Maori art and a couple of days ago we started our good copy. For our good copy, we started by going over with sharpie on the pencil, then we couorlrd it in with pastels after that we dyed the background.  The dye I chose to do was yellow and orange. Here is a picture!!!!!

ANZAC ART

This week we were learning about Anzac day (Australia and new Zealand army crops).We also did some art  this is how we did it. 

1. we picked out a sheet to colour in
2. then we coloured it in with felts
3. we cut it out
4. after that we dyed the paper

Maori Art

Last week the year 5’s with Mrs Suggate did Maori art for Waitangi Day.
1, we did a couple draft drawings just finding what type of pattern we wanted.
2,We did a draft drawing of our chosen one (the one we liked).
3,We did our final copy and coloured it in with pastels (it was hard).
I like my my Maori Art.
